He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College (Aurangabad), MS (Surgery) from Lok Manya Tilak Hospital (Mumbai), and M.Ch (Hepatobillary Surgery and Liver Transplant) from Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (New Delhi).
