He has successfully carried out over 10,000 coronary angioplasty (PTCA). Before joining BLK, he worked as Senior Interventional Cardiologist & Officer i/c Cardiac Cath lab at Army Hospital R and R New Delhi, as Director of Cardiology at Metro Hospitals Delhi and with Max Hospital as Senior Interventional Cardiologist. Specialises in Complex Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular procedures. Expertise in Coronary Angiography, Coronary Angioplasty/ Stenting, Peripheral Angioplasty, Peripheral Vascular Procedures, Complex Interventional Cardiology, Pacemaker Implants, Biventricular and Combo Device Implants, AICD implants.

Qualifications

MBBS, MD from Armed Forces Medical College India, DM Cardiology from PGI (Chandigarh) India, Prof of Medicine Cardiology Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (Karnataka) & Guide for DNB (Cardiology), FSCAI, FACC.

He did his Post Graduation in Medicine from AFMC where he won the KK Gupta Gold Medal for standing 1st in the Advanced Course. He completed his DM in Cardiology from PGI Chandigarh and then was at leading Armed Forces hospitals at Bangalore and New Delhi.
