Dr. Suraj Bhagat is a senior consultant in Gastroenterology, holding rich experience of nearly 18 years in the field. His areas of expertise include treatment of GERD, Bowel obstruction treatment, Crohn’s disease, Whipple surgery, anti-reflux procedures, appendectomy and many more. Dr. Suraj did specialization in Gastroenterology from a well-known institute called PGIMER, Chandigarh and did MRCP from Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom. Earlier in his career, he has worked as a senior research associate in Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh and as an assistant professor in Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. Dr. Suraj is also a lifetime member of Royal College of Physicians of UK, Indian Society of Gastroenterology and Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India.
