Transurethral resection of bladder tumor or TURBT is known to be the first treatment that you might undergo if you have been diagnosed with early bladder cancer. Under this procedure, the surgeon removes the tumor present in your bladder through your urethra. The urethra is the tube that carries urine from the bladder to outside of the body.
